What’s available?
Smoke & Mirrors Photography offers digitally
enhanced images in color, black and white and other
tones as well. Digital images can be retouched and
enhanced in any way needed
in the digital darkroom.
Smoke & Mirrors Photography can
retouch and manipulate old photographs to make them look
as good as the day they
were taken.
Color Balance can be added for an
overall, even color.
If the picture needs brightening or sharpening,
these features can be applied. With these features, color
becomes more
crisp and dramatic and the photo stands out even more.
Hue & Saturation can
be applied to get different tonal qualities of a certain
color. If a pictures color looks
blotchy or uneven the hue and saturation can be evened
out.
We offer special effects and features which include:
Blur Effect adds a distorted look to the
picture and can softened it to look less dramatic and intense.
Negative
Imaging changes the pictures appearance and gives
it a negative look. This looks great for a flyer that’s
used for promoting a band or show of some kind.
Artistic
Effects (Sepia) Gives the picture that old, artistic look.
Distortion changes the actual picture’s appearance,
changing the original photo. Can make a picture look kind
of like a cartoon.
Edging can be used to give a picture
an offset, curled or scroll-like. Various edging effects
are available. Border gives the picture that finished look.
Various colors are available.
Geometric Like shapes? We can distort the
picture and change it’s shape. This gives the photo
an even more distorted look.
Illumination Lighting may be added. If a picture appears
too dark, illumination can lighten and soften it up.
Image Effect (Offset)
Reflection Effects gives you that "mirrored" look.
Textured effect is a great way to capture a viewer’s
interest. Texture offers that feeling that you can reach
out and touch it and adds dimension to the photo.
Black
and White or Sepia tone can be applied for that old, artistic
look.
Red-Eye Removal can be applied to any picture to get
rid of the red-eye look.
There is nothing more annoying than
to see a picture of a beautiful face with red eyes. This
can ruin a picture.
All photo shoots are done digitally and
taken in a professional and relaxed
setting with professional
equipment. Lounge
area is provided for a break, if needed.
All photo shoots
are done in a way to suit the clients needs. Each client
is different so thought and care goes
into each
session.
Before the actual session is scheduled, a short
orientation will be taken to go over what the client would
like to
accomplish.
If you already have ideas about what you want,
we’ll
go over them, confirm everything and prepare for the shoot.
If not, Smoke & Mirrors Photography can provide you
with some.
What format will my photos be transferred to?
After the session
is completed, all digital images will be professionally retouched,
enhanced and reformatted onto
CD
to view on your computer or for print out. You receive
all the pictures that are taken at the photo shoot.
Web
shots are available and are professionally retouched and
reformatted for the web and available on CD.

What is a "Photo
Montage" on CD/DVD and what does it contain?
Is a collection
of your photos, mementos, music arranged and presented in
such a way that draws the viewer into
a show that could be very emotional, dramatic or a "cinematic" experience.
Montages can be viewed on your PC or TV.
How
long does it take for the completion of a Photo Montage?
That depends on the size of the project,
where the contents are coming from and where it's geographically
going to
be shipped to. Generally, a Photo Montage order will be taken
in
the order they are received. If it is the standard size
(75 images) that you are inquiring about, then about
2-3 weeks
for completion and delivery.
Any unanswered questions you
may still have can be forwarded to my email.
